Like the "briefcase bomb" Clark Edison, Dr. Sweets is a sexy guy, a point that his girlfriends are at pains to emphasize.
These types of visuals are rarely mistakes--which doesn't betoken some kind of hidden conspiracy. Visuals are television and filmmakers' bread and butter. They are the desired form of communication.
