Manga Art in Motion: Yusuke Murata

I comment in a previous post that Sanami Matoh created some of the best in-motion manga art ever.

Yusuke Murata, the artist for One-Punch Man, runs a close second. The action sequences are quite fun to "read" since they thankfully take up entire pages (rather than being crammed into side panels).

However, even the "still" moments or pauses have a pleasing energy. After my reading of Volume 25, I had to remind myself that the sequence where Sekingar throws a phone to Genos and Genos takes off have not yet been committed to available anime. The scenes I was remembering were from the manga, not from anything in digital motion.

Impressive!
